Have you ever experienced a broken heart, oh yes, I have. But I came to realize that we have a loving Saviour who has suffered and died for us all. And He is always there at our side ready to help us if we tend to fall, but we have to call on Him.
He is there to reasure us that we never ever have to be afraid to go thru these trials and tribulations alone.
He will help us and make us strong
You only have to reach out and hold is hands firmly and never let them go. Reach out in prayer, reach out, just opening the door of your heart and letting Him in.
But how could we do that. We just have to reach out, by studying His Word. Reach out, just keeping His commandments, for they are the best guidelines there are to keep us on the right path.
Doing His will, will make us strong to deal with anything that comes on our path.
The book of John chapter 16 verses 16-24 Reads as follows:
Sorrow Will Turn into Joy
“16 Jesus told his disciples, “For a little while you won't see me, but after a while you will see me. ” 18 What is this ‘little while’ that he is talking about? We don't know what he means.” 19 Jesus knew that they had some questions, so he said: You are wondering what I meant when I said that for a little while you won't see me, but after a while you will see me. 20 I tell you for certain that you will cry and be sad, but the world will be happy. You will be sad, but later you will be happy. 21 When a woman is about to give birth, she is in great pain. But after it is all over, she forgets the pain and is happy, because she has brought a child into the world. 22 You are now very sad. But later I will see you, and you will be so happy that no one will be able to change the way you feel. 23 When that time comes, you won't have to ask me about anything. I tell you for certain that the Father will give you whatever you ask for in my name. 24 You have not asked for anything in this way before, but now you must ask in my name. Then it will be given to you, so that you will be completely happy.”
But just remember, the door of our heart can only be opened from the inside. It would be your or my choice to let him in or not. . We read the following in Psalm 34 vers 18 as follows:
The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saves such as be of a contrite spirit.
Ps 147 verse 3 says: “He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.”
There is a song that inspires me everyday from my youth untill now: the writer T.Dennis wrote the following:
“Have you read the story of the cross, oh yes? Where Jesus bled and died
Do you really realize that your debt was paid by His precious blood That flowed from his wounded side?
Have you heard how they placed the crown of thorns Upon his brow for you and for me When he prayed forgive them o forgive They know not what they do?
Have you read that he looked to heaven and said it is finished, and do you really realize it was for you and for me?
Have you ever said I thank you lord For giving your life for me?
Yes loved ones.
He died of a broken heart for us all He died of a broken heart O wondrous love It was for you and me Oh yes, he died of a broken heart.
We all undergo trials and hardships in our lives. And sometimes we wonder if we would be able to survive them all.
Please, let “the Broken heart song” be your and my daily meditation. I have made it mine. It means so much to me. And that is why my prayer today is:
THANK YOU lord
I want to thank you for what you have already done for me. I am not going to wait until I see results or receive rewards; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until I feel better or things look better; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until people say they are sorry or until they stop talking about me; I am thanking you right now Lord. I am not going to wait until the pain in my body disappears; I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until my financial situation improves; I am going to thank you right now. I am not going to wait until my home situation changes and that all the family decides to follow you Lord; I am going to thank you right now.
I am not going to wait until my grandson get accepted in another school. I am not going to wait until I understand all the trials that I am now going through in my life . I am thanking you right now. I am not going to wait until the journey gets easier or the challenges are removed; I am thanking you right now Lord.
I am thanking you because I am alive. Thanking you, that you have blessed me with life each and every morning; that is one of the greatest miracles in our lives, and still we tend to overlook them. We keep complaining that we do not see any miracles performed in our lives .
But Heavenly Father we ought to start to be more thankful for the little things in our lives each and every day.
I am thanking you because by thy grace, I made it through the day's difficulties. I am thanking you because by thy grace, I managed to walk around the obstacles on my path. I am thanking you because by thy grace, I have the ability and the opportunity to do more and do better.
And that is why I'm thanking Heavenly FATHER, for YOU haven't given up on me. My Heavenly Father is just so good, and He's good all the time.
AMEN
Love you all Have a nice week Yvette
