Jesus knows your sorrow,
Knows your every care;
Knows your deep contrition,
Hears your feeblest prayer;
Do not fear to trust Him --
Tell Him all your grief;
Cast on Him your burden,
He will bring relief.
Trust the heart of Jesus,
You are precious there;
Surely He would shield you
From the tempter's snare;
Safely He would lead you,
By His own sweet way,
Out into the glory
Of a brighter day.
Jesus knows your conflict,
Hears your burdened sigh;
When your heart is wounded,
Hears your plaintive cry;
He your soul will strengthen,
To overcome your fears;
He will send you comfort,
and wipe away your tears.
