Don Carlos the principal actor of Schiller’s novel was talking with his father, the king Phillp II of Spain, telling him a personal preoccupation.  Despite the fact he was a prince, even he was having a kingdom at his legs, and he was enjoying all the facilities, richesness, the luxury, and the education of a royal house, the young man was feeling that he is not satisfied because of a single point.  He told his father:” 23 years and I did nothing for my salvation!” Probably Schiller was thinking in the eternity given by the history books…

I don’t know your age, but if till present you did nothing for your salvation, it is the time to seriously think to this point. That would be a great shame to fail the chance to meet HIM!
