If I were a pizza, my prayer would be
that God put everything He loves on me.
If I were a steak, I would simply ask
to be tender enough to handle His tasks.
If I were french fries, I'd want to be
golden, so His love would shine through me.
If I were a shake, I'd want to be thick
so nobody's words would hurt me so quick.

These are a few of the foods I like.
If God was the cook, He would fix them right;
so I'm asking God to prepare me too
for everything He would have me do.

I want to be a steak sandwich for God;
filled with the meat of His word,
covered by the Bread of Life,
sprinkled with the salt and pepper of His Grace
and always ready to "catch up" on all
the Bible teachings I don't know.
