Nobody can touch my money, i'm member of a bank you can trust!

The world is going through huge changes right now. Not only is the climate become more and more unpredictable due to pollution. We see nations flirting with and developming atomic bombs. And the world is going through economic instability on a scale almost as worse as the days of the previous century that has laid to 2 world wars. Last Friday evening, early Saturday morning, European government leaders decided to bail out Cyprus with 17 billion Euros. That in is fact is nothing new. Greece, Portugal, Spain and some other countries have been bailed out before. The most interesting thing that happend this weekend is that everybody with a bankaccount in Cyprus has to pay. Even people with a small deposit on their accounts.
Just imagine, you worked your whole live, and you trusted in the bank to keep your money in a save place, until the time you can quite your job and enjoy what you have longed for your whole life. You paid your taxes, your bills and from one moment to another it just disappears. Gone is your hard earned cash. Gone.
The Bible gives us an explanation why we save money for a rainy day. Because we are worisome about our future and the ability to sustain ourselves. In the 21th century, people tend to trust their own works more, that wat God can do for them.
“Therefore do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ For after all these things the Gentiles seek. For your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you. Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble." (Mat 6:31-34)
You know this passage of Scripture, Jesus says that we don't need to worry. Jesus knows what we need. But still we trust our own works more safe and secure than what God can deliver. We think that everything we do, is our own accomplishments. But we are mistaken in that face. All that we have, if you are a believer or not. We receive His mercy and blessings and grace. He sustains us, in ways so miraclous that we we learn about them in detail, at the time we enter the portals of the eternal city, that new Jerusalem, when we can ask Jesus and the angels personally, how He has intervened in our most desperate moments of our lives.
We think that banks can save us, government can feeds us. But in all reality our Heavenly father knows what we needs,
“So why do you worry about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow: they neither toil nor spin; and yet I say to you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Now if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will He not much more clothe you, O you of little faith? (Mat 6:28-30)
Are we of little faith... it seems so. Because when the world has problems we run to the insurance company for emergency money, we listen to the people who govern with power to protect us, to the supermarket to feed us and to the banks to secure us. But what does the bible says about the inventions of men.
be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age,[c]against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. (eph 6:10-13)
We must be able to stand, and we can only stand by the one who gives us strength
Even the youths shall faint and be weary,And the young men shall utterly fall,31 But those who wait on the Lord Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. (Is 40:30,31)
Keeping close to the Law of God protects you from dispear and disbelief,
Where there is no prophetic vision the people cast off restraint; But happy is he who keeps the law. (Prov 29:18)
And what does the Law say.
You shall not steal. (Ex 20:15)
And what do we see.. in those we trust. Banks, Governments, people... they steal. They grab. All for their own power and gain.. and yet still we trust them more.. than what God wants to give us. Love, hope and faith for evermore.
Do you know what God wants to give you and me... something you CAN trust in. Something you can believe in. He does not take.. He gives. He does not force us, but he streches out his hands. His plans are perfect from past infinity to present to the everlasting future and yet beyond.
You can trust the plans of God, you know why?
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. Then you will call upon Me and go and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. And you will seek Me and find Me, when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you, says the Lord, and I will bring you back from your captivity; I will gather you from all the nations and from all the places where I have driven you, says the Lord, and I will bring you to the place from which I cause you to be carried away captive. (Prov 29:11-14).
You can trust God... you can trust His plans.
Are you afraid that you can't get hold of your money, Are you afraid what to do next. TRUST IN THE LORD, TRUST IN HIS WORD. That is what we must do. Prophecy has been given. Their is only one bank, one heavenly bank you can trust. It is not man made. It has no special plan to make you rich for this little time on this planet. The bank i'm a member of ask only one thing.
Believe upon the Lord and you shall be saved.
We must put our trust, our future, our all and all where thieves cannot take our faith, our faith in God from us. Because money can be taken away. Assets can be stolen. Houses can be broken and possions can be confiscated. But their is one thing the world cannot take away from you. Your faith in Jesus Christ. The Lam who was slain for our sins. The One who promised that everyhting you do in faith, shall last forever more.
Do not lay up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy and where thieves break in and steal; but lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. (Mat 6:19-21)
Who do you trust?
The bank
The Government
The great and mighty institions of this world
or
Jesus
Take your pick, I know who will win in the end... because the Bible told me so.
